Mobile App Design

UI Showcase

As a product designer with 12+ years of experience in UX, my role and responsibilities sometimes cover app-specific design. This involves the typical research, exploration, design, and handoff, but also becoming an expert in the latest guidelines for native apps (iOS, Android).

The following examples are a few of the apps that I’ve worked on:

Company
Dispatch, Leaf

Year
2014-2015

Role
Product Design, Mobile UI Designer

  • Daily job display

  • Job details drawer

  • New personal event and job forms

  • Add new service type

Leaf Point-of-Sale Android App (Tablet)

Leaf offered a native Android Point-of-Sale (POS) app for local restaurants. All designers were heavily focused on adhering to Material Design guidelines (as of ~2014). The following is a collection of wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and annotated versions for engineering handoff.
